Joey Grillo - Entertainer, Singer, Songwriter, and Drummer, with the ability to incorporate Guitar, Piano, and Harmonica into his performances, has been writing, recording, and entertaining audiences for many years throughout the country.
Born and raised in Southern California, at the age of 10 Joey started playing drums. By the early ’80s, he was performing up and down Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. As a strong singing drummer, he took the next step to frontman vocalist, for many 90’s touring bands. This led to being recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine with a feature story in the March 1997 issue, radio interviews, and newspaper write-ups. By 2005, performing as Roger Daltrey, in a tribute to The Who, took Joey to the stage in the Musical Rock Opera “Quad”, produced by Bill Aucoin.
2008 brought on a whole new musical adventure. Wall of Sound Studios was established in Anaheim, California by Joey Grillo. With years of experience in the music business, he brought his vision to life. WOSS offers audio, and video services, live streaming, photography, sound stage and lighting, music equipment rental/backline as well as provides rehearsal space for the arts.
This gave him the opportunity to share his love and passion for the music industry with others.
2008 Grillo built out a 3000-square-foot, brand new facility featuring a premier showcase room offering industry-standard equipment along with three other quality-equipped production rooms to provide a great working environment for artists, creatives, and professionals as well as management, talent buyers, and record companies to work with their clients.
Location plays a big role in the success of a new business, a building was secured in Anaheim, CA, the entertainment capital of Orange County, California, within a mile of several major freeways and less than one mile from Disneyland, Angel Stadium, Honda Center and the Anaheim Convention Center, the home of NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants).
With much success, as an entrepreneur and entertainer, Joey opened a second location in 2013 in the entertainment capital of the United States, Las Vegas, Nevada. Easy Access off of Sahara Ave & the 15 Freeway, one block from the famous Las Vegas strip!
Las Vegas WOSS offers a fully equipped rehearsal room, video production, live video shoots, photo shoots, multiple cameras live switching, recording services, music equipment, backline gear rentals, event services, sound, stage, lighting rentals, DJ gear rentals, bands for hire, classic rock band for hire, Country rock band for hire, Party, corporate, private entertainment for hire.
Since then, Joey has had a strong presence in Las Vegas performing up and down the Las Vegas Strip, including a residency at Station Casinos with Rebel Soul, charity fundraisers, as well as private and major corporate events, which include Photoshop, Discovery Channel’s Velocity Live, National Hardware Convention and annual convention SEMA, which he wrote the 2015 theme song for.
Stepping into today, Joey continues to write, record, and tour as a solo artist and with his band Rebel Soul, as well as performing on drums with the number one Aerosmith Tribute, Aeromyth. His passion as an Entertainer drives him to embark on new opportunities leading him to Daytona Beach, Florida. Joey can be found throughout the country, always ready to entertain fans and audiences.
We are now happy to announce our newest studio location that opened in 2021 in Daytona Beach Florida, where some of the biggest events in the state take place: NASCAR, Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Daytona Truck Meet, Jeep Beach, as well as headlining concerts, corporate events, and conventions. Also, just a short distance from surrounding areas such as Ormond Beach, South Daytona, Port Orange, and New Smyrna Beach. It is also easily accessible from Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and less than 80 miles from the world-famous Disney World, Orlando, Florida.
Over the years we have been a host for millions of musicians, from beginners to world-renowned acts from all over the world, some of which include: Scorpions, Chaka Kahn, DIO, Stray Cats, LIT, UFO, 50 Cent, Doors, American Idol, just to name a few.
We are excited to continue to provide services for the arts community in multiple locations throughout the United States.
